Spelling in SL

I have encountered a few profiles in which some people complain/whine about spelling and/or grammar.

Really?

SL is a melting pot with people from all over the world.
While some may use a translator others will just try to communicate the best way they know how.
Whether or not they can spell what should count is that they are trying, but of course there are people who are so perfect in their own little world they don't take that in consideration and so quick to judge, criticize, and whine.

It is very ignorant of people to say they will not communicate or RP with someone because they can't spell correctly or meet their vocabulary expectations.

I am Dominican.
My first language is Spanish.
I am what "they" call ESL (English as a second language)
With that been said, I make mistakes, I misspell some words and at times confuse words that sound the same.
There will be times when I will write a sentence backwards and place words where they don't belong because I am thinking in Spanish and translating as I go along...

I respect peoples opinion and the choices they make, but don't go around saying how liberal and open minded you are when you keep whining and not taking in consideration that others are not from the US, their first language is not English and they are at least making an effort to talk with you and yet there are people who don't appreciate that.

Personally, i really don't want to deal with English scholars having to proof read a conversation I am having with them, that is plain rude.

Oh, and instead of talking so much shit and discrediting people for their lack of English and their spelling, why don't you try helping, or teaching us how it is properly done.
I would very much appreciate such gesture than to have someone make fun of me, or later on read in their picks how they don't want to waste their time talking with me because I misspelled a few words.

It is just wow to me!

Hello few readers
I have been away for a bit...not from SL but the SL blogging world

So much has happened in the past 6 months, not so much in SL but RL

"We" don't log in as much as we used to for life is a bit more busy during the summer than winters, of course.

My friend Mac has been through a lot of ups and down and trying to be there for her in every possible way.
She wishes I would log in more and for a longer period of time but I explained to her I had my SL time already and it is her time now.
I went through my SL stage when I would be in and out, logged in 24/7, chillin' with friends, clubbing, in RP, looking for fun adventures and exploring and I am not saying those days are over, but just dormant for the moment.

We have tons of fun!
Is a daily process with her, but she is learning, baby steps and of course when she says "hey, I'm blonde!" for an excuse of why she takes her time learning, I am about to hand her a bottle of special SL hair coloring!!

It is never a boring time with her, she keeps me occupied one way or the other.

At the moment we've spent about a month trying to get a house for the property and still nothing, nada, zip...we are seriously taking our time and I am about to sell.  Thinking about it.

Let's see what other messes we get into.  One great thing is that she keeps me from getting into trouble ;-p by myself.

my SL in 2014

I am not as active as I wish I was in SL in some ways of course.

Finding time to log in has become a challenge, life is getting busy by the moment and although I enjoy going into SL most of my friends are on the same path, outgrowing SL.
There are a few that are still around but too busy with their own things.

Still saddens me knowing Koco gave it up.  Even though we didn't talk every single day it was always nice knowing she was always there.

I miss MissE, I need to hit her up one of this days when I log in.

MacK is having computer issues and hopefully those will be solved soon, she is one reason why I enjoy login in, teaching her things, conversation and our detective work!

I Love the feel of that place, love to be surrounded by water and I still have to take my boat out and do some sailing.
But first, I need to get my computer all set up before I do that, it is having a few issues.

Went to the Aravir Home, is the longest residence we have lived at, and it is a pleasure to visit there.  Specially when I didn't visit for a long time.

Weekly Logins...

....not all the way LOL

I log in a few times a week and most times is to spend time with MacK.

Koco has not been around and says that she has given up SL and as long her stores pays for itself she will keep it, the day that it doesn't then Kajira Kajirae will be going out of business :(

Misse is not around either and Azure Twist belongs to someone else I believe, I TP there last week and nothing around.  bummer :(

my Master and I have a beautiful place which I call the boathouse, I am actually looking for a better place with water to sail but at the moment there is nothing I like so far.
As long as my Owner is happy and comfortable, that he can log in to a comfy and cozy home I feel I have done my job as his slave.
Keeping him happy and meeting his needs in SL and RL - I aim to please

is 2014 and so many great things are coming...I can feel it.

Active SL

well, not so active but active enough.

I haven't logged in much since Wednesday of last week.  If I am not mistaken I believe I was logged in chilling on Thanksgiving day taking pictures of the new Boat House but have been extremely busy in RL to log in again.

We have a shit load of prims in the new place :) and a great price!
Is a tiny place but we have plenty of water to navigate.

Keeping the place 18th Century.
If he thinks he is the only one who likes that era he got another thing coming.  Anything prior to the 19th century I love, specially when it has to do with fashion and home decor.

Made a few new friends but still keep to myself, I think SL is better with a small circle of friends to share with and enjoy ourselves.  I have MacK, she is awesome, she is a friend in RL and SL...she is also going through some heart issues due to SL :(
 
My honey Skye -- partnered and lasted less than a month, geez!
She knew because she called it even before it happened.  I just don't get why even bother to partner.

My Koco -- only logs in her girls to keep her store going but really doesn't come about as much.

Minx -- I have talked to her a few times in IM, we say hello and talk for a few, it is always nice to hear from her and catching up.  We make plans to get together, see what happens.

MissE -- I haven't seen or heard from her since the closing of Dixey...a bit after that actually, she sounded a bit off with me, don't blame her, when things got busy in SL my RL also went a bit out of it.

It is the reason why I don't like to commit at doing things in SL.
I work 8-4:30 by  the time I get home is already 5 or a bit after depending on traffic, if I have to stop at the store it obviously takes me longer.  I cook most nights specially during the week...to make a long story short, I have to play around with time and multitask in order for me to get to do the things I want to.

I may be going on tonight, I am not sure...I have a task and helping a friend solve some issues.
