Back home and searching for Alpha Male

ok...
so MissE and I talking today after such a long time of not seen each other, it was great seen her and catching up a bit :)
but anyways, i need to get my cute ass on point! one thing that came up is that there are so many females on the SIM and hardly any males, if any...Harold still not around...I have to go out searching for an Alpha Male...oh boy, what a challenge.

I can't think of who, or better yet how to catch him...and keep him around, make it fun for him to make him wanna stay.
I am sure with all the beauties around he wont have a problem *grins wide*

Checking how things are....

I needed a break from reading so decided to log into to SL.

to my surprise there was nobody around o.O

I went to UT to see how things looked, i was a bit afraid MissE might have changed things around, i have been gone for so long that it wouldn't surprise me...I miss talking to her, she lifts my spirit and when i have an issue about something or confusion when I speak to her she lays it down like it is!

After checking out UT I decided to go out dancing, see what was pumping...

same ol'shit, different day.  I talked to a few people and they are all going through the same ordeal...SL is getting old and monotonous...

I am not much or a roleplayer...and i probably have lost my SL mojo...not cool cause i do love it there...specially when.................he.........is..........around.

Out of the loop & taking time off

Summer has been extremely busy for me, always busy, out and about.

Compare to previous years I always managed to find time to log into SL no matter what time or day...but lately the computer does not call me at all...perhaps because he is no longer in the picture - as far as SL is concerned.  He probably will make his reappearance come the fall, but his life is so busy at the moment that I am not even going to hold my breath

I miss my SL but when I log in (when i go in to pay tier every two weeks) feels odd.

SL moves fast!
from one day to the other is like a week has gone by, specially if you are doing RP in a SIM and RL comes in the way, at your return you find everything moved, SIM has changed, different people...and that happens just about all over the place.

I do need to take a day and clean inventory, i notice i have LM's that are so old and the places do not even exist.  I am waiting for a rainy day, a dark rainy day, or i could wait until winter comes...

Missing my friends very much...wanting to log in to say hi and spend time with them.  I am not the only one, there are a few who have disappeared...I sent kamiko an IM still no response...wonder if she is mad at me.

It was not my intention to leave SL so suddenly...it all began with my oldest daughter having an issue that needed my total and absolete attention...then after that matter was resolve something else came along...now is just lost of interest and the reminder of him in every place i go in SL.

I can't wait to go back!

Sick and Busy in RL

I haven't been login in much in SL this day :(

Been sick and busy at work with all the changes...

I haven't been able to keep up with most of my loved activities, but hoping this week that will go down after Wednesday...I did log in a few days ago, paid some advertisement boards and set up others.

I really need to take sometime to log in this week to keep on doing what I need to do...is just so much on my plate...RL is RL and things need to get done.

Finally I will be going for treatment on Saturday, and I will be back to normal and my activities will be back to how it was or get even better!

How do you start?

Click the old lady, You will get a menu:

Choose Required List, Read in open chat what the old lady need,

Start quest Ultima Thule Minor whispers: Item:  Exclusive fur (25)
Start quest Ultima Thule Minor whispers: Item:  Silver ingot (50)
Start quest Ultima Thule Minor whispers: Item:  Horn (10)
Start quest Ultima Thule Minor whispers: Item:  Antlers (10)


In Ultima Thule Minor you will find items on the ground, you can do chores, you can trade with
people you meet..or steal from them! Keep your eyes open!

When you have all the items needed, come back to the old lady and click her:

Choose Create, and if you have all the required items, you will receive a knife.

Take the knife to the young fisher boy.

PLAYING IN THE SIM


*You must be over 18yo to play here
*ALL players have to wear the Honor Roleplay Meter
*Only HUMAN avatars
*No child avatars.
*No flying or enhanced jumping
*Follow the historical setting in your character and RP as much as possible.
*Avoid OOC chat. Use IM for this.
*No insulting, aggressive, or harassing behavior in OOC/IM.
*No drama or bullshit. You are expected to handle both yourself, and any problems in an adult and mature manner.
*Gestures are NOT allowed in the sim.

Being a slave has to be mutual accepted.
We do not use collars here, nor does slaves sit in nadu or similar.
Enemy soldiers captured during battle/raids, whether in Ultima Thule Minor, are to be treated as prisoners of war and not personal slaves.

What is a trell?

taken from Daily Life in the Viking Period

The slave - or "trell", as the Vikings called him, is not mentioned in the law because they were not protected by the law. The slave was owned by his owner in the same way the owner owned his domestic animals. Slaves were looked upon as the owner’s property. The owner could buy and sell a slave, and he could treat his slave as he liked. If the owner killed one of his slaves, it was not considered as murder. If a free man killed another man’s slave, the murderer only had to pay for a new slave. The price was nearly the same as that of a domestic animal. 

When a female slave bore a child, her child automatically became the property of her owner. If a pregnant slave was sold, her unborn child became the new owner’s property as well. Rigstula tells us that the slaves worked all the time. They collected wood, fertilized the fields, made fences, dug turf, bred pigs and made bast ropes. The slave family ate unwholesome and unappetizing food. According to the law, the only thing a slave was allowed to own was a knife. 

Slaves were often captured during Viking raids upon British islands, but a free Norwegian man could also become a slave, either by free will or by force. He might be forced into slavery if he wasn’t able to pay the mulct ordained by the Thing or if he couldn’t feed himself and his family. Some Vikings became rich by selling slaves to other tribes in Europe.
